BBQ Beef Skewers with Garlic Butter

Ingredients (4 people)
- 600 g ribeye or sirloin, cut into 3 cm cubes
- 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 60 g butter
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- Wooden or metal skewers
How to Cook :
- Prep the meat: Cut the ribeye or sirloin into even cubes. Pat dry, then season generously with salt and pepper.
- Make the garlic butter: In a small pan, melt the butter gently. Add garlic and cook 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it burn). Stir in parsley, set aside.
- Skewer: Thread the beef cubes onto skewers (4–5 per skewer). If using wooden skewers, soak them in water 30 min beforehand.
- Grill: Place skewers over high heat on the BBQ. Grill 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare, a little longer if you prefer well done.
- Finish: Brush generously with warm garlic butter as they come off the grill. Serve immediately with extra parsley on top.
Serving Tip :
Lay the skewers on a big wooden board, drizzle the rest of the garlic butter on top, and carve one skewer at the table with your Viking knife for maximum effect.
